REPORT BACK: WOMEN, HIV & AIDS FORUMS
VOW sponsored five forums throughout the city in 2004 to engage women in public policy advocacy.  Many topics and issues were addressed by community leaders.  These topics included:

  What is advocacy?
  What are the tools for community organizing?
City, State & Federal policies impacting women infected/affected by HIV/AIDS.
  What are the NYC planning bodies you should be sitting at.
Issues that are important to us as women.
  Networking.
  Women of Color issues.
