National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day 2006

On Friday, March 10, 2006 VOW helped our fiscal sponsor, Family Health Project, organized a wonderful panel discussion for the first annual National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This panel highlighted four women of color HIV/AIDS activists:

Women Rally at City Hall about HIV/AIDS On December 1, 2004 VOW helped organize a march from Wall Street to City Hall and a rally at City Hall. The theme focused on women, girls, and HIV and AIDS. The most popular chant was "Women with AIDS will be heard today!" We were! See pictures and video.
